The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will hold a joint ministerial meeting in Riyadh on Thursday with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The meeting is chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al Jubeir, whose country heads the current session of the ministerial council.
GCC Secretary General Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani said the meeting is part of ongoing strategic dialogue between the two sides and will discuss ways of enhancing joint cooperation between the GCC and Turkey in the different domains as per a joint action plan.
Thursday's gathering will also probe current political issues and the latest security and political developments in the region and international efforts exerted to combat terrorism, according to Zayani.
