EgyptAir will operate an additional flight to the Eritrean capital, Asmara, as of January 7 with Airbus A320 model, chairman of the company Sherif Ezzat said in a statement on Sunday.
The total number of flights heading for the African country will rise to six flights instead of five, the statement added.
The Egyptian Airline operates flights to about 17 African cities, including the Arab Maghreb cities, the statement read.
EgyptAir has offered a 25% discount on its tickets to Asmara from any European points in the national carrier’s network this month, according to the statement.
Also, it has announced a 30% discount on first class seats of flights between Cairo and Guangzhou as of January 15 to June 30, 2017, the statement noted.
