Egypt’s Ambassador in Accra Mohamed Heider met with the Ghanian deputy finance minister for talks on boosting economic and trade ties.
The meeting took up investments of Egyptian companies operating in the Ghanaian market, including the Arab Contractors Company and El Sewedy Industries Group, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Ghanian official expressed hope that more Egyptian business persons will invest in the country in light of the facilitated measures offered by the government.
For his part, the Egyptian envoy said the chambers of commerce of the two countries will sign a memo of understanding soon as preparations are underway for a visit by representatives of Ghanian companies to Egypt.
