Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh received visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry at the presidential palace on Monday.
During the meeting, Shoukry handed over an invitation from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Djibouti president to attend the third COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite Summit of Head of States and Government that will be held in June in Sharm El Sheikh.
The three blocs stand for the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, the East African Community and the Southern African Development Community.
The Egyptian foreign minister arrived here Monday on a one-day visit as part of an African tour that will take him to Uganda.
