The 103rd ministerial session of the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) will be held in Cairo on Thursday.
CAEU Secretary General Mohamed Rabie said the ministerial session will be preceded by a meeting of the council's permanent representatives.
The meeting will address several key Arab economic issues, especially promoting the joint Arab market and developing Arab trade exchange.
Rabie said the ministerial meeting will review the council's policy and a report by the CAEU chief on the Arab and international developments.
The talks will also take up the executive
measures taken by the council's general secretariat on establishing an Arab company for silos and storing cereals, he said.
The talks will review the steps taken so far for establishing an Arab meat company, an Arab holding company for fish and an Arab holding company for tractors and agro-equipment, he added.
The conferees will also discuss a request by the Arab Mining Company to set up a company for mining research and development, he said.
