Egyptian Trade Minister Tarek Qabil, Health Minister Ahmed Emad Eddin, Transport Minister Galal el Saeed and Immigration Minister Nabila Makram in addition to Head of the Suez Canal Authority will arrive here within the coming few days to discuss ways of boosting bilateral ties.
In statements to MENA, Egypt's Ambassador in Amman Khaled Tharwat said the Egyptian officials' visit comes within the framework of the ongoing preparations for the 26th session of the joint higher committee slated to be held in Cairo at the end of August.
Upon their arrival here on Friday's evening, the ministers of trade and health will meet with their Jordanian counterparts to talk about bilateral relations and any pending issues, he added.
Meanwhile, the ministers of transport and irrigation and Mamish will land here in the middle of next week to hold talks with Jordanian officials on pushing forward bilateral ties, according to the Egyptian diplomat
