The U.A.E. Ambassador to Algeria, Ahmed Ali Nasser Al Mail Al-Zaabi, has presented his credentials to the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, as the Ambassador of the U.A.E. to Algeria.
Al-Zaabi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the Algerian president.
Bouteflika hailed the merits and wisdom of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his contributions to the boom of the U.A.E.'s economy, his supportive stances towards Arab issues and peace across the world.
He also commended the wisdom of Sheikh Khalifa and his achievements, particularly ushering in highly-sophisticated cultural renaissance in the U.A.E., which has become a role model in the development and welfare fields.
The Algerian president also hailed the U.A.E.'s foreign policy, expressing his satisfaction of bilateral relations between the two sides, especially as these deepen constantly in various fields.
Bouteflika underlined his country's keenness to develop ties with the U.A.E. to the advantage of the two countries in the light of the current challenges facing Arab countries, citing that two countries have a convergence in their vision as they address challenges and work to safeguard stability and development in the region.
He also wished permanent stability and progress for the U.A.E. under the prudent leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
