The non-resident ambassador of the UAE to the Principality of Andorra, Hessa Abdullah Al Otaiba, met with Head of Government of the Principality of Andorra, Antoni Marti, who took over after his Democrats for Andorra coalition won the parliamentary elections on 24 March with an overwhelming majority of votes.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed the regards of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to the Andorran premier, as well as his best wishes for good health and well-being for him and for further progress and prosperity for the government and the friendly people of Andorra.
On his part, the Andorran premier requested Al Otaiba to convey his thanks and regards to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and the government and people for the UAE.
He expressed the desire for expanding contacts between the two countries by through official visits at all levels in the government, economic and legislative spheres.
He also said that the Andorran government welcomes visits by UAE senior officials to Andorra to learn closely about the principality and discuss cooperation between the two countries.
