Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi met a French delegation composed of thirty political and cultural and media personalities, including former ministers, Senate and National Assembly members and mayors.
Essebsi said this visit reaffirms France's strong support to Tunisia and reflects the solid relations between the two countries.
"The terrorist attack at the Bardo Museum was a shock to Tunisians as it targeted a symbol of their identity and their history. It has at the same time united them against terrorism," the Tunisian President was quoted by the official TAP news agency as saying.
Members of the delegation expressed their full solidarity with Tunisia, saying it has excited the admiration of the world with the success of its democratic process.
