Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi met on Monday with Bahraini Interior Minister Rashid Bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, who is visiting Tunisia. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries in different spheres, especially in security and countering terrorism field, in addition to issues of common concern.
The Tunisian President reaffirmed Tunisia's solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its support for its initiatives to preserve its security and stability. The Bahraini Minister stressed the need to develop the exchange of experience between Bahrain and Tunisia on security and to foster coordination and cooperation between the two countries to deal with the threats facing the region, including in the first place terrorism.
