Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid met Friday a delegation of the U.K. House of Commons' foreign affairs committee to discuss Tunisian-British cooperation and ways of boosting it.
During the meeting, Essid reviewed priorities of the government program in the upcoming phase, expressing his government's keenness on developing cooperation and partnership ties between the two countries.
In turn, the British delegation reiterated its support for Tunisia on all fronts, particularly in security and economy in order to achieve development and stability in the region.
The British delegation arrived yesterday in Tunisia on a two-day visit, during which they also meet President Beji Caid Essebsi and parliament speaker Mohamed Ennaceur.
