Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Taieb Baccouche held talks with Deborah Jones, U.S. ambassador to Libya, who resides in Malta and is currently on a visit to Tunisia.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed possible solutions to end all forms of violence, Tunisian state news agency TAP reported.
They stressed the need to join efforts to allow the different Libyan sides to continue negotiations, ensure the success of dialogue sessions between Libyan stakeholders and overcome obstacles that may prevent reaching a solution that enables the Libyan people to live in security, peace and stability while sparing neighboring countries and the region terrorist threats, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
