Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of optimizing the use of vital projects and vital service facilities, including public parks.
He stressed the need to ensure vital public amenities are not misused for other purposes in breach of the law and social traditions.
“The national responsibility requires everyone to conserve history and contribute to its documentation which fosters the spirit of loyalty and belonging among people”, he said.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa made the statement as he received Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Dr. Nabeel Abul-Fateh.
Southern Municipality director-general Asem Abdullatif also attended the meeting at the governorate headquarters.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of highlighting iconic locations in the Southern Governorate for visitors, citing particularly the Hunainya park spring.
Dr. Abul Fateh commended the role and initiatives of HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa which, stressing the ministry’s readiness to follow-up the proposed projects.
