President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Sunday with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on the implementation of a number of national projects.
The carrying out of the one-million-and-half feddan project was reviewed during the meeting, said presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef.
The president stressed the necessity to finalize all measures to start the mega project and to provide required support for the developer of the project to accomplish its task, said the spokesman.
Sisi underlined the importance of hiring world expertise in this regard, said Yousef.
The meeting tackled also projects of the national roads network, said the spokesman, adding that the president called for increasing the rate of implementation to finish the projects as scheduled.
The file of social housing for low-income citizens and development plans in Upper Egypt were discussed at the meeting, said Yousef.
Energy projects under implementation were mulled and the president asserted that the necessity of using further renewable resources of energy.
