President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdel Wahab al Bader at his residence in Kuwait Monday.
Sisi said the fund contributes to the implementation of many development projects in Egypt.
The president posted Bader on Egypt's economic reform program and measures taken by the government to alleviate the impacts of reform on most-in-need people, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
Efforts are also being exerted to improve the business climate and attract more investments, Sisi was quoted as saying.
Bader assured Sisi that the fund is keen on supporting Egypt and providing finances to implement development projects there.
He praised "courageous" steps taken by Cairo to achieve economic reform in the country.
