Visiting President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Tuesday at his residence in Manama Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim al Mulla.
Sisi stressed Egypt's keenness on enhancing cooperation with Bahrain in all domains, especially the parliamentary score, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
He underscored Egypt's commitment to supporting Bahrain and maintaining the security of Bahrain and other Gulf states.
He underlined that maintaining security and stability of Gulf states represent a top priority for Egypt.
Mulla hailed Sisi's visit as opening new vistas of cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the depth of Cairo-Manama ties.
He hailed Egypt's role in maintaining stability and security of Bahrain and other Arab states, commending Egypt's efforts to close Arab ranks.
Mulla accentuated that Egypt will remain strong and will always be an example of coexistence and national unity.
Mulla voiced hope the Egypt and Bahrain would boost parliamentary cooperation and exchange expertise.
