President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended at dawn Sunday the training of the Military Academy students to check on their physical preparedness and combat capabilities.
Sisi lauded the distinguished training level as well as the skills and physical capability of the students of the academy.
Those students are Egypt's hope and future, Sisi said, stressing that the challenges currently besetting the homeland need unconventional preparations and a constant development of training methods.
He warned that information and psychological war destroys entire nations and "so we must study it and know its impact on Egyptian youths."
"We have to promote the Egyptians' awareness of its hazards and instead try to make use of it to serve our national goals," he added.
He advised the students to maintain high fitness and discipline both in shape and behavior.
He also urged the students to be always committed to the Egyptian military values and serve as an example to be followed by Egyptian youths.
Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi and Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazi attended the training.
