Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz met in Jeddah Tuesday with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam.
Saudi Press Agency said that Crown Prince ‘highlighted the strategic and historical relations between the two countries and their keenness to strengthen them at various levels, stressing Saudi Arabia’s continued historical approach supporting the national unity in Lebanon .
Lebanese Prime Minister ‘hailed the status of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Arab and Muslim worlds, stressing that the support by the kingdom for the Islamic and Arab countries and its supporting positions at all levels made it occupy this important position,’ it added.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and promote them, in addition to reviewing the developments at the regional and international arenas.
