HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah participated Friday in the ministerial meeting that took place between US Secretary of State John Kerry and Foreign Minister of GCC and the council's Secretary-General Abdul Latif Al Zayani.
The meeting took place in Paris. They discussed current relations and cooperation between the GCC and the United States and the means to enhance it. They also discussed a range of issues of joint interest such as the Yemeni Crisis, the situation in Syria, Iran's nuclear program and counterterrorism topics. They also discussed ways to enhance security and stability in the region.
They also discussed the schedule of the summit that will take place between GCC leaders and US President Barack Obama in Camp David on May 13 and 14.
