HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah on Saturday met Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu as part of HE's visit to Antalya to attend the Qatari-Turkish consultative committee meeting.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways of boosting and developing them.
They stressed that bilateral relations have seen rapid development in the recent years, particularly in the commercial field with trade volume amounting to nearly $1 billion.
The meeting also exchanged views on several issues such as military industry, livestock and agriculture with the two officials expressing hope to enhance and boost ties for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
In addition, talks touched on a set of regional and international issues of mutual interest, notably developments in the region and the situation in Syria and Yemen as well as the Camp David summit.
