Deputy Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Alexander Vershbow met Monday with Qatar's Foreign Minister's Assistant for International Cooperation Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.
They discussed issues of joint interest and relations between the State of Qatar and NATO. They also discussed developments in the Middle-East.
Vershbow expressed, on behalf of NATO, his thanks to the State of Qatar on hosting the 10th anniversary of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative.
HE Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani and the delegation accompanying HE the Foreign Minister Assistant attended the meeting.
