HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim met Wednesday with GCC land forces commanders, on the sidelines of their 15th meeting organized by the Qatari Emiri Land Forces over two days.
The agenda of the meeting includes working sessions on ways of developing land-based cooperation between the land forces of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and to the best ways to enhance this cooperation to further consolidate and strengthening the GCC land forces, and promote of joint GCC Cooperation.
The Qatari Land Forces concluded earlier a preliminary meeting for managers of the GCC land forces operations to coordinate for the topics to be listed on the agenda of the land forces commanders meeting.
The organization of this meeting by Emiri Land Forces come as part of unremitting efforts and guidance of HE the Minister of State for Defense Affairs Major General Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah and HE the Chief of Staff Major General Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim which reaffirm the importance of strengthening the joint military action efforts through cooperation and coordination, and consolidation of the common trends and concepts in military affairs between Qatar Emiri forces and other GCC forces.
