HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani met at the Home Office in London on Wednesday with UK Home Secretary Amber Rudd.
Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom, especially in the field of security and means of promoting them.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior praised the level of cooperation and coordination between the ministries of interior of both countries, expressing hope that the continuous meetings between the two sides would lead to higher levels of cooperation and contribute to maintaining security in the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom.
For her part, the UK Home Secretary praised the level of coordination between the two ministries of interior in various security issues, especially combating terrorism, money laundering and others.
Later, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and the British Home Secretary witnessed the signing of two security cooperation agreements for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
