Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi met Tuesday with Igor Crnadak, the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
A statement by the Tunisia Presidency said that Essebsi stressed the pressing need to unify international efforts to eliminate terrorism.
Crnadak said the meeting took up cooperation between Tunisia and the Council of Europe, particularly in support of the rule of law and human rights and in the face of terrorism.
Crnadak, who also serves as the Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, talked about mean of boosting relations between his country and Tunisia at the political and economic levels.
Crnadak arrived in Tunisia Monday.
He already met with Tunisian Foreign Minister al Tayyeb al Bakouch and parliament speaker Mohamed al Nasser.
