Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah on Thursday discussed with UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krahenbuhl and Scott Anderson, Deputy Director of Operations for UNRWA in Gaza, means of improving the services provided to Palestinian refugees.
He stressed the importance of the efforts being exerted by UNRWA especially in education and health sectors, praising its continued support to the Palestinian refugee camps of the diaspora and calling on the international community institutions to assume its legal and moral responsibility to protect them from the devastating effects of the war in Syria.
He also briefed the two officials on the latest political developments and the Israeli violations against the Palestinians, especially the escalation of house demolitions and constructions especially in the so-called "C" zones as well as settlement expansion.
