A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the National Committee on the Prohibition of Weapons of Mass Destruction, chaired by the Undersecretary, Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, during which the participation of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation in the Vienna Review Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention on Nuclear Safety was assessed.
It also discussed a number of topics including speeding up the signing of the Agreement on Immunities and Privileges of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and following up on the reports that ought to be submitted to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). (MOFA)
