Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, attended yesterday the inauguration of the International Aviation and Space Show, MAKS 2015, in the Russian capital, Moscow.
He was received on his arrival by President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, and a number of senior Russian officials.
Sheikh Mohamed and a number of leaders watched the parade of civil and military jets taking part in the show. Thereafter, President Putin accompanied Sheikh Mohamed and the guests on a tour of pavilions featuring at the MAKS show.
They were briefed about the latest military, defence innovations and projects being showcased by exhibiting companies. They also inspected civil planes and military jets, as well as flight simulators, innovations and projects of students from schools and educational institutes in Russia, who are showcasing a number of distinguished projects.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the guests were also briefed about the latest products from Russian and international companies in the areas of technology, electric appliances and modern military technology.
They were also briefed during the last round to the space and sciences sector about the development phases, future, impact on development of sciences and other services that touch the life of a human being.
Over 151 international companies are featuring in the show, being held under the patronage of the Russian government.
