His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Saturday, received Malaysian Foreign Minister, Anifah Aman, and discussed with him bilateral relations, especially in the economic and tourism fields.
King Abdullah stressed the importance of promoting mutual cooperation and expressed his pride in Jordan’s and Malaysia’s exemplary of coexistence, tolerance and interfaith harmony.
The meeting also discussed the importance of intensifying efforts to combat terrorism, both regionally and internationally, within a holistic strategy, as it targets the security and stability of the region and the world.
The Malaysian foreign minister expressed his country’s appreciation for His Majesty’s efforts to achieve peace and enhance security and stability in the region.
He said Malaysia looks forward to expanding relations of partnership with the Kingdom in various fields.
