On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, His Roy al Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today attended the Isa Royal Military College's ceremony to mark the 12th graduating class of officer cadets – the Ahmed Al Fateh Brigade. His Royal Highness was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Lieutenant-General Yousif bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqer Al Noaimi, Chief of Staff, His Highness Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard, and a number of senior BDF officers.
During the ceremony, His Royal Highness affirmed that Bahraini citizens represent the true wealth of the nation and the engine behind the Kingdom’s development and modernisation.
His Royal Highness praised the combat performance of the BDF and highlighted its significant contribution to the security and stability of the region. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the success of the Isa Royal Military College’s training programme, which has consistently produced officers capable of serving the Kingdom on all fronts. His Royal Highness further highlighted His Majesty King Hamad’s continued support to the College in recognition of its crucial role protecting the Kingdom’s stability and development.
His Royal Highness offered his congratulations to the commissioning officer cadets, noting that the BDF’s commitment to protecting the achievements of the Kingdom remains integral to Bahrain’s sustainable development.
His Royal Highness also extended his appreciation to the Commandant of the Isa Royal Military College and the college’s staff for their hard work and successful contributions to educational, training and development courses.
His Royal Highness inspected the officer cadet parade before the commencement of the commissioning parade. Following the commissioning parade, Major General Abdulrahman Khalifa Al Noaimi, Commandant of the Isa Royal Military College, expressed his pride at the level of efficiency that has been achieved by the graduating class and wished the graduate cadets success in their future postings.
In addition, two poems were recited in honour of His Royal Highness. Officer cadet Saad Khaled Al Kaabi spoke on behalf of the officer cadets, expressing their joy on reaching the important and commemorative day. Cadet Al Kaabi highlighted the graduating class’ pride in joining the BDF and their commitment to serving the Kingdom while upholding its national values. His Royal Highness then honoured the college’s top achievers before the graduate cadets were handed the college's banner and took their oath. The Isa Royal Military College Commandant presented his Royal Highness with a commemorative gift.
