His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at his residence here HM Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, the Sultan of Pahang in sisterly Malaysia, who visited him to greet him.

HM the King reviewed with HM Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah the distinguished Bahraini-Malaysian relations and their steady growth in various fields thanks to shared keenness of both countries on strengthening them.
HM King Hamad lauded the advanced level of bilateral cooperation in all the economic, trade and investment fields, which, he said, achieved the common interests of the two brotherly countries and their peoples.
HM the King praised the key role of Malaysia at the Asian level, hailing its pioneering experience in various development fields, as well as its stances in support of Islamic issues.
HM King Hamad expressed thanks and appreciation to Malaysia’s Sultan, government and people for the gracious welcome and hospitality accorded to him and his accompanying delegation, wishing sisterly Malaysia and its brotherly people further progress and prosperity.
HM Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah lauded HM King Hamad’s visit to Malaysia, and praised its fruitful outcomes, expressing thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
He also lauded the progress witnessed by Bahrain in various fields under HM King Hamad’s leadership.
