HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a bilateral meeting with President Jacob Zuma of South Africa, at the Presidential Palace in the capital city of Pretoria, this evening.
During the meeting, HH the Emir and the South Africa's President reviewed the existing friendly relations between the two countries and ways to promote them in line with the keenness of the two sides and their efforts to develop them at all levels, in a way that serves the common interests of both countries and peoples.
The two sides also discussed the current developments in the Middle East, especially the Palestinian issue and the situation in Libya, Syria and Yemen. They also discussed developments in Africa and the world in general.
Upon arrival at the Presidential Palace, HH the Emir was accorded an official reception.
