The First Vice-President and the National Prime Minister, General, Bakri Hassan Saleh met, Thursday, at his office, at the Council of Ministers, Speaker of Bahrain Council of Representatives, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Mala and the accompanied delegation in the presence of the Head of the Assembly's External Affairs Committee, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mustafa .
The Bahraini official has affirmed, in press statements, the strong relations between the two countries, explaining that the visit comes in the context of strengthening the parliamentary relations between Sudan and his country .
He said the meeting touched on different spheres of cooperation, the joint interests and the coordination in regional and international issues, specially, what concerns fighting terrorism, referring to the directives of the King of Bahrain, Al-Sheikh Hammad Bin Issa Al-Khalefa concerning taking the necessary procedures to open the Bahraini embassy in Sudan .
Meanwhile, Mohammed Al-Mustafa has described the visit as successful and fruitful .
