Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab left here Friday after a three-day official visit to Italy.
During the visit, Mahlab met with his Italian counterpart Matteo Renzi, Italy's President Sergio Mattarella and a number of Italian ministers and officials.
A number of deals in the field of petroleum, energy and electricity were signed during the visit.
Also, a declaration of intent was signed between the Egyptian and Italian governments to develop ways of cooperation between the two countries through supplying Egypt's small and medium-sized companies with training and technical assistance.
Mahlab was accompanied by Minister of Trade and Industry Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour.
