Deputy Premier receives US ambassador

Deputy Premier, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received US Ambassador to Bahrain, William Rebuck, at the Gudaibiya Palace today.
The deputy premier reviewed with the ambassador the progress of the Bahraini-US relations of friendship and cooperation.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to the envoy for his efforts to consolidate bilateral relations and joint cooperation in various fields.
They also reviewed the latest regional and international developments, stressing the importance of safeguarding regional and global security and stability.
Ambassador Roebuck expressed thanks and appreciation to the kingdom for the cooperation of all sides with him throughout his tenure, which, he said, has enabled him to carry out his duties in a way that serves the good relations between the two friendly countries, and contributes to their progress in various fields.
