H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, met yesterday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zlatko Lagumdzija, who is on an official visit to the country.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah welcomed Lagumdzija and his accompanying delegation, wishing the visit would contribute to further enhancing the bilateral ties in all domains between the two friendly countries.
On his part, the Bosnian Foreign Minister extended thanks to the UAE for a warm welcome and generosity.
They also discussed the bilateral relations and the importance of boosting them in the economic and investment fields to the advantage of the two friendly peoples and countries.
The parties also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments as well as a number of issues of mutual interest, stressing the importance of working together to achieve stability and welfare of the region.
Sheikh Abdullah welcomed Bosnia's decision to exempt the UAE citizens from pre-entry visa requirements, a move which coincides with the launching of direct flights between the two countries.
Sheikh Abdullah and Lagumdzija indicated that the high-profile and regular visits of the two countries' leadership, have significantly contributed towards enhancing the diplomatic relations between the two countries since their establishment, expressing their wish to further cooperate in all domains as well as constant enhancement of ties between the UAE and Bosnia.
