On Friday 27 May, Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra conducted by Hassan Sharara, will perform at the Alexandria Opera House (Sayed Darwish Theatre) The Violin Gala concert will include works by Mussorgsky, Haydn, Kreisler, Vitali, Bach, Grieg, and Attia Sharara. Soloists of the evening are: Nancy Kobeshy, Maya Elremaly, Rafea Ali, Nesrine Elsheikh, Ahmed Sharara, Anwar Mansi and Nevine Elmahmoudy Alexandria Opera House String Orchestra was formed in 2004, with Gehad Dawood as it's principal conductor. Since 2008, the orchestra has also been conducted by a number of Egyptian musicians, such as Hassan Sharara, Mounir Nasr El Din and Mahmoud Osman. The orchestra's annual repertoire includes six concerts.
