Officials of the national pavilion of the UAE at Expo Milano 2015 hosted a luncheon for a group of Emiratis, workers and participants on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
Among the attendees were Abdul Rahim Youssef Al Awadhi, Assistant Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs; Saqr Al Raisi, Ambassador of the UAE to Italy; Noura Mohammed Juma, Consul-General of the UAE in Milan; Sulaiman Al Mazrouie, Ambassador of the UAE to Belgium; and Dr Abdullah Al Rayes, Director General of the National Archives.
A number of Italians and citizens of other Gulf countries also joined the luncheon to enjoy Emirati traditional food.
They were welcomed by Abdullah Al Aidarous, Deputy Commissioner-General of the UAE pavilion, and Obaid Faraj Al Rumaithi of the management of the pavilion.
The National Media Council, NMC, is organising the UAE pavilion at Expo Milano 2015, a large global commercial fair running from 1st May to 1st October under the theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life"
