Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed hailed a research paper on developing the tourism sector which was presented during the first youth simulation forum that opened Sunday under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The forum falls within the framework of the Presidential Leadership Program (PLP).
The research paper called for boosting investments in the infrastructure of the tourism sector, establishing projects that serve tourists and offering tax incentives for tourism investors.
The paper also urged capitalizing on Luxor city, which is the world tourism capital and improving the image of Egypt abroad.
The paper also called for innovative marketing policies and focusing on the ancient Egyptian civilization in promoting for tourism.
