H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, today inspected progress at tourism infrastructures projects in Al-Dhaid area, including the Al-Bardi Kabeer Park, set to be a tourist destination.
He noted that the park, which stretches over an area of 14 square kilometres will feature the world's largest safari outside Africa with 50,000 animals.
The park will be inaugurated after one and half years.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Sultan approved a plan to construct a sewage system in Al Dhaid City at a cost of AED180 million.
