Children’s website QNA Kids, affiliated to Qatar News Agency (QNA), was able to enhance its presence with its first participation at the 22nd Doha International Book Fair, an official said. The website attracted a considerable number of adults, children and students of Qatari schools. Some visitors expressed their admiration for the idea behind the website and its educational aims that target the learning of children. The website has encouraged children to write press stories and cover their school activities through simple style of writing accompanied with related photos. The aim was to create distinguished journalists for the future. QNA Kids concluded its activities at the book fair by handing out prizes for the National Day competition to the winning children. The number of participants of children aged 7- 15 yeas was about 300 from Qatar and abroad.
