Spouse of Malaysian ambassador in Cairo Datin Zakiah Dato' said Egypt is a wonderful country that enjoys cultural diversity.
In exclusive statements to MENA, she added that she visited a number of tourist destinations in Egypt, adding that she liked Luxor, Aswan and Cairo's monuments and museums.
She also called for shedding more light on Islamic tourism in Egypt.
She also called on Malaysian tourists to visit Egypt that restored stability.
Meanwhile, she said that there are about 10,000 Malaysians living in Egypt, the majority of whom are studying at Al Azhar.
