A ceremony was held as part of the governorate's efforts to promote tourism as the city also prepares to establish the European-Egyptian cinema festival and Luxor festival for African cinema other cultural events.
Luxor governor Tareq Saad El Din attended the ceremony along with a number of archeologists, astronomers, and Egyptologists.
Tourists along with local and international media teams also witnessed the event.
