Egyptian Culture Minister Abdel Wahed Nabwi cabled on Sunday his condolences to his Saudi, Bahraini and UAE counterparts over the death of a number of their brave soldiers in Yemen.
They died while defending the soil of an Arab nation and they will be always remembered by every Arab national, he said in the cables.
Some 45 UAE soldiers were killed when Houthi militias fired a missile at an arms depot at a military base in Yemen’s eastern province of Marib. Around 10 Saudi soldiers, as well as five from Bahrain, were also killed in the attack.
The blood of martyrs should be a reason to unite all Arabs against terrorism and extremism and to promote the culture of peace and tolerance, he added
