
Minister of Culture Gaber Ahmed el-Sayed Asfour held a meeting on Saturday with head of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) President of SCTA Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz.
The meeting took up cultural cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
During their talks, the Saudi prince highlighted the Egyptian role as a minaret of culture to the Arab world.
He also noted plans to train Saudi cadres in Egypt.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) allocated five billion Saudi rials for Arab heritage preservation projects, the prince said.
