Antiquities Minister Mamdouh El Damaty on Tuesday said Egypt is due to restore seven stolen artifacts from Germany.
The artifacts had been smuggled from Egypt illegally, where they were offered for sale at an exhibition in Berlin in November 2013, the minster said.
The artifacts will be delivered to Egypt during the minister's visit to Berlin, during which he will take part in an exhibition at the Museum of Berlin under the title " One God.. The legacy of Prophet Ibrahim in the Nile Valley".
The four-month exhibition will include about 300 unique artifacts representing the three monotheistic religions, the minister said.
