Cairo security directorate shared for the third day in a row the citizens their celebrations of inaugurating the New Suez Canal.
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar gave directives to security apparatuses to participate in the celebrations as the International community is participating in this historic event.
This comes as part of the Interior Ministry's strategy aiming at activating communication with all sectors of the society.
The Media Department at Cairo security directorate secured roads and distributed Egyptian flags, chocolate and congratulatory cards on citizens in squares as well as main streets.
Flags were hung up at police stations on that occasion, while the police bands played patriotic songs, the matter which pleased the citizens.
