
Minister of State for Information Affairs, the official spokesperson of the Government, Samira Ibrahim bin Rajab received in her office at the ministry Mass Media Management Director Yousif Mohammed Ismail, where he presented her a copy of his book entitled "History of National Singing in Kingdom of Bahrain." The minister hailed the distinctive documentary edition for Yousif Mohammed considering it a qualitative addition to the Bahraini Library. The book also presents a comprehensive view on the evolution of the national song in the Kingdom of Bahrain since its inception in 1783 as an Arab Islamic entity in the era of the Founder Ahmed Al Fateh, followed by its independence and the establishment of the modern state, up to the prosperous reform era of HM the King. The minister expressed her wishes for the Author of the book and the Bahraini innovators all success in writing more editions that reinforce the national identity, and raise the cultural and cognitive awareness of society. For his part, Yousif Mohammed thanked and appreciated the minister for her support and encouragement of the national media cadres, stressing that the book displays the development of the history of national singing in Bahrain, and reflects the linkage between the Bahraini artist and national issues and concerns of citizens.
