President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received at Bahrain National Museum today the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck, in the presence of a delegation from Smithsonian Institution for history, art and culture who are in Bahrain at an invitation by BACA.
Shaikha Mai pointed out that laying bridges of civilisational communication between Bahrain and other countries is top priority for BACA, praising the American presence in the kingdom’s cultural movement.
Both sides discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in the cultural field, stressing the need to exchange experiences in this respect.
