Al Azhar Undersecretary Abbas Shoman warned of the misuse of religion for serving private purposes.
Shoman's remark was made during the closing ceremony of a training course held by the high committee for Islamic call at al Azhar for preachers of Islamic nation from Malaysia, India, Britain, Nigeria and Sudan.
During the celebration, Shoman added that the Islamic nation is confronting great challenges after matters become more complicated.
He, meanwhile, urged the new preachers to transfer Islam's tolerance to their countries.
He further told them that they are best representatives for Al Azhar and for moderate Islam.
