Yemeni Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa discussed existing cooperation ties between his country and Total Group as he met Stephane Michel, the company's Middle East president for exploration and production.
During the meeting, which took place on Thursday, the two sides discussed the workflow of Total-Yemen regarding exploration and production of oil and gas, as well as the government's efforts to provide the appropriate climate for attracting and expanding investments in the oil and gas sector.
The meeting touched on efforts to reconsider the sale price of Yemeni gas in line with international prices so as to ensure fair benefits for Yemen and the company.
